How can I convince my parents to let me choose a different chore?

I have to pick up the dog poop as my chore. The major problem is that I'm petrified of wasps because they seem to chase me and be attracted to me. I've tried getting out of it but my parents just say I'm being lazy and to get over it. I've tried doing other chores that I CAN do, such as cat litter and cleaning the house, but my parents still force me to pick up the poop. I get grounded a lot because of this, and I need to know how to get my parents to let me pick my chore so that I don't have to deal with this ever again. Just so you know, there are TONS of wasps in my yard, and thats why I call it wasp city.
