Vasectomy??

Am I being selfish? We are both 33, we have a 15 year old son. We have lost 3 other babies, the last being this past aug. All of my pregnancies have had complications, with my son Ideveloped a rare condition where my body treated my son as a forgein object and was rejecting him, I ended up in a coma when I had him, he was delivered 2 months early...but he is a happy healthy teenager now. Then I had 1 ectopic where my tube ruptured, then a miscarriage and this last pregnancy was another ectopic. My husband and I had a long talk and decided we werent going to try for any more kids, I was doing research on Tubal Ligations but read that it wouldnt be reccomended due to my previous ectopics...so would it be selfish of me to ask my husband to have a vasectomy, and if any men read this how would you feel of this situation? Please no rude remarks
