What do you think of this dream?
His last breath had disappeared. He simply had to stop. Gasping and aching, barely able to see the tree in front of him, he dared a peek around. Searchlights frantically illuminated the harsh terrain and the definite growl of dogs was easily audible. He started again. The man sprinted in between rocks and under trees with cat-like agility and, for a brief moment, seemed victorious. But fate was whistling another tune for at that moment a large figure leaped out at him, knocking him to the ground. The dog flashed its teeth at the man and hurled itself at him taking a piece of his arm with it. He got up and darted away but didn’t see the figure behind him. A gun went off and the man had no time to react. Crumpling to the floor in agony, still alive, the man made a final attempt to escape but the figure advanced on him, the dog trotting behind. He could scarcely see the gun aimed straight at his face in the pitch-black night and he distinctly heard a low s just before he the trigger
