Will I be accepted by my church?

I was born in Hong Kong and have been living in US since I was teenager. I like non denomination churches and most Chinese churches bore me. I want to be more active in my church but the congregation are mostly white. Do you think they will accept me as a fellow Christian or just another foreigner? In the past people treated me differently in church because of my look and accent. I do have a little accent.
